Did I say Enon - High Society yet? Everyone should give it a spin. It's ... so... good! Why aren't they the band on everyone's lips? WHY?

Who are they?

Enon - the most underrated band around. John Schmershal from Braniac, Toko from The Lapse, and a shit hot drummer called Matt, doing beepy indie songs with more class and imagination than every one of those BlocKaiserLight indie-lite bands. High Society is one of the best records of this MILLENNIUM I tell you! The very best!

Last time I played Celebrity Skin I found it really underwhelming.
Rrachael put a Comets On Fire track on my DiS comp and they reminded me of Slade.
Fans of singersongwriters should check out some Leo Kottke. Burnt Lips is a good album to start with.
I've only played Nurse once since I got it but I thought it sounded really good.

What a coincidence - I send you a Comets on Fire track, too. Is being compared to slade good or bad?

Being compared to Slade can only be good.

Slade are still pop heroes in Wolverhampton. 'Come on feel the noize' was the first song I heard after new year's in Wolverhampton's biggest club. Dave Hill buys furniture from my ex-band's bass player's shop.
