Looking up he sees fiery radioactive death approaching:

I was talking about this last night with Miss Waistcoat.
I still can't think of specific lines.
The bits that come into my head as really making me laugh loads are often sight gags - like when evil kinevil jumps over the shark/ lion etc infested tank successfully, then falls in, or when homer tries to jump springfield gorge, falls in, is rescued and put in an ambulance, then falls out of the ambulance and back into the gorge.
I think my favourite episodes are maybe... the one where they get lost in the woods and homer is seen as the missing link... the one where bart goes to france... the one where homer eats the chili that gives him this cosmic mindflight... the one where lisa drinks the water at a theme park and has a trip like she's on pills ("I can SEE the music!") ...

was just a really good simpsons on..... Homer did the skateboard jump and thought he was gonna make it "I am the king of the world !"
Only to fall and be rescued by an air ambulance, his head bumping on the rocks all the way back up to safety. He gets in the ambulance on a stretcher which then crashes into a tree causing the back to open - Homer hurtles out and rolls off the cliff again.
DOH! Spectacular.
