Well I have just voted for "Siamese Dream", thus edging it yet further into the lead.
How about the Beach Boys for the next one? Maybe a "Beach Boys other than 'Pet Sounds'" poll?

The only Smashing Pumpkins album I own is Gish. Tis very very good in my humble opinion.
I'm not the mystery voter mind...

Apologies for digging the one out of the grave. Just heard the new Corgan solo song on myspace and was reminded of the magnificence of Adore. No offence to the might of Jimmy Chamberlain, I just love those heartbreaking piano songs.

Dont worry PV the beatles are cool, I suggest you move you're desk away from wishpigs.
Cos I've had a word with a contact of mine and apparently they're booked for a stay in purgatory.

I am not familiar with the work of these "Smashing Pumpkins" or "Beatles" characters. I do like the way they've combined the words "beetles" and "beat" into one seamless whole. Fiendish wordplay. Can't somebody ask me what my favourite late 90s metallic hardcore band is? I'd very much like the opportunity to refuse to give a straight answer to that question as well.
