I really enjoyed the last sentence of that post even if I couldn't make head nor donkeytail of it. Have you heard The Everlasting Gaze/ This Time/ Age of Innocence from Machina? Each one a minor masterpiece. I agree that Billy vanished up his own arse just as he was finishing Siamese Dream, but there are moments of greatness on each and every album that make them worthwhile. I reckon.
