Media studies is frowned upon because so many people do it just for something to go to uni for.
I'm doing architecture. It is truly the greatest of all subjects, with the bestest post-grad bit. It does have the worrying effect that I have lots of "free" (i.e. studio) time which i spend on dis. I really am addicted...

Doesn't the architecture course go on for a very long time, someone told me around 8 years?
I always find it funny that BA psychology is frowned on a lot more than BSc Psychology even though the courses are nearly the same.
Two little letters can make a hell of a difference.
Lucky I'm doing a BSc one ;D

people keep telling me that BA stands for Bugger All and english isn't a very vocational course.
i can't even think what else i would want to do so i don't really care.

Those two letters BA still mean a lot more than nothing there ;D
This Harry potter stuff is weird and really unintentionally funny ;D At least it doesn't try to break into gay sex as many times as possible like in the Libertines ones.

You wouldn't get bored, best way to think of architecture is nursery school with knives.
It's like Art Attack or Itsa Bitsa, but with a really good qualification at the end

Obviously the best subject to study is PPE. Turns you into a real arsehole, I hear.

I did an Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree, which I'm currently making no use of whatsoever. Uni was wonderful though

I got some kind of certificate after finishing a years pre-entry in 2003. I folded it up, rather than rolling it up, stuck it in the cupboard of doom and have never seen it since and have no idea where it is in said cupboard.
I don't think uni's quite the same when you're in your 30s.
