i just wondered if Mr Brainlove had proved enough forum for y'all, and if you had kinda, well, y'kno, moved on from DiS to pastures new(er)... or at least for the most part anyway. as though brainlove is your base and you may check DiS a bit, but the real art is here...

FRF your charming shoelacing is one of the best reasons to visit DIS now, marcofellow seems like a decent sort of bloke though.
By the way I find the shoelacing, neither weird, wanky or cool if a woman did that, for some reason if a bloke did it, it would seem wankier.

I've kinda come over here because I was getting a little bored of DiS.... but the fact that everyone here often have pretty much the same views (as far as I can tell) means I will keep checking out the posts of Ralphcore and other controversial types...

I've not forasken it, I just don't live there anymore! I pop back now and again for tea and cakes and an ahld chinwag. This board feels more like home though, I've got my metaphorical bags unpacked, the kettle's on, a spliff on the go and my Withnail and I poster is on the wall.

DiS will always be DiS, mainly intresting with a few pillocks.
I'll always be there cause everyone on Brainlove seems to know each other quite well from DiS or in person but new people proberbly wont find this but are much more likely to find DiS.
Also you can't have a decent footy discussion here but you can on DiS! ;D

Hmmmmmmm...I think she meant me I've not abandoned DiS - I just post a lot less there these days, because it seems to have got more popular - but with complete buffoons (of course there are honourable exceptions, but I can't be arsed to post all their names). In the meantime, I'm living on the top floor of the brainlove web-board, playing solitaire while I wait for everyone to get back with some cider from the shop. Will someone put some poptarts on, I'll be down in a minute.

It's alright, we can reminise about the old days for as long as we want but things move on, old people go, new people arrive.
The wheels of change are turning my dear.

Drowned in snide!
It depends what you look for in a music discussion forum. I look to find out things I didn't already know, and that's worked, and then I like to enthuse about music I like. The latter approach is not encouraged at Drowned In Snide. There are too many underdeveloped minds on there, and I don't mean children, and some creepy music business types. I think I shall stick to reading it.

I like them both for different reasons and read and post on both. Mr Traynor, you can come across slightly patronisingly sometimes, you have very valid points but I'm sure you enjoy riling people... What do you do if you don't mind me asking?

I like the cut of Mr Traynor's jib, even though he's implicitly branded me as a philistine. DiS was in a bit of a lull until that Trout Mask Replica thread.

True, phillistine, I thoroughly enjoyed that thread but I do think Mr Traynor enjoys being inflammatory... It's nice to see someone new who isn't a petulant trolling child and is adding real debate.
