The Rapture were MUCH better before they met the DFA. Pink Flag is kinda dull. Shellac's 1000 Hurts is also. How Soon Is Now? is shit. Johnny Ramone was a right tit. "Vertigo" is full of stupid plot holes. 50 Cent used to make good records. I'm running out of things off the top of my head, i was just rockin' out to some pre-DFA Rapture and wanted to start a thread  |

Out of the races... is a lot better than Echoes.
And the original version of Olio is better as well.
I like Pink Flag though, as good music as Johnny Ramone helped to make he will never be forgiven for supporting the Republicans.

ooops sorry there Right then.... SFA are soooo much better than Radiohead, it's experimentation but it keeps the sense of fun! The Pixies are good, but there is better out there. I never have been able to get into the Smiths, Cure, Pavement (early stuff copies the Fall anyway *alegedly*) I find it all a bit boring really and Morrissey annoys me quite a lot. As good as Devo are the sight of middle aged men rocking the same stuff is kind of embaressing. Actually all reforms shouldn't happen. Glastonbury is just a middle class version of roughing it. |

It's a doodling band in search of tune "IMHO".
And the Rapture might not be on DFA any more, but I'd be quite surprised if they didn't go with them as a production team.
