Now this is a funny one. It puts the big JB in a whole new light. The Darkness?! This is the same Darkness which are contenders for most annoying musical act ever conceived? I hate them with every tired muscle of my body. I too think this needs an explanation!

I totally stand by The Darkness thing. They totally rock. Loosened your belts, you lot, and jump up and down. Jeez.
The Patrick album had only been played once at that point, I got it the day before - my friend sent it to me on an MP3 CD-R with no name except Patrick Wolf. I have thought about going back and changing that but it didn't seem right.

"Growing On Me" is NOT better than "House of Jealous Lovers". In ANY way.  I can't believe you like the Darkness, they're the Little Britain of the rock scene. |

I like Little Britain too.
House of Jealous Lovers was a re-release, so I didn't want to give it too much credit. Anyway, pffft, this is my list so it can't be wrong because it's my opinion - an area in which I am the world's foremost expert.
