Grinner's fave Audrey Tautou of course, Jean Reno is it in it as well, and Gandalf is.
Paul Bettany is in it as well, kinda well cast as the psycho-albino.
HAHA according to IMDB the creators of 24 wanted to buy the rights for the Da Vinci Code and use the plot a story line for one series -would be a slight departure for old Jack Bauer!

They're making a film of the Da Vinci Code? ugh. how depressing, i really didn't like that book. It was vaguely entertaining, but so shallow. Worse news - it's directed by Ron Howard. *cries*

I'm currently watching Willow, directed by Ron Howard spookily, and saw that it was co-written by George Lucas. Now I feel stupid for not realising how similar it is to Star Wars. Magic = The Force, Joanne Whalley and Val Kilmer are largely Leia and Han clones, Evil Emperor/Evil Queen, etc
I mean, I know most myths and tales follow the same archetypal characters, and it's a great film, I just couldn't believe I hadn't noticed...

I'm also watching Willow I used to love this film when I was young, it was up there with Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves -which for me really was the pinnacle of cinema! The simillarities between Martigan and Han Solo is crazy! Val Kilmer seems to be playing the role as Harrison Ford.

I think Willow was supposed to be based loosely on Star Wars and they'd hoped for a similar franchise.
I used to love Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, I saw it six times at the cinema.

Well maybe not so loosely.

Ahhh....I loved the Dark Crystal. Never Ending Story was one of the first films I saw at the cinema. In order: E.T. , Never Ending Story and then Supergirl. <tangent>The first films I watched on video.....my brother and I got to pick one each, were Space Balls and Howard the Duck. Coming to think of it, I think my brother stole my choice and then picked both .<end tangent> I'd like to mention Flight of the Navigator. Perfect to watch on a Sunday afternoon with a hangover. It's not that great, its just that comfort nostalgia thing....abit like Fray Bentos Pies.

Ah, you mentioned Fray Bentos pies again! I still haven't re-investigated them, must do so next week.
I watched The Battle For Endor a couple of weeks ago. It is an spinoff movie from Star Wars, featuring the Ewoks. It was really terrible.

Did Ron Howard really direct "Inside Deep Throat"?! Wow, little Richie Cunningham has come a long way.

As far as I'm aware Ron Howard did not direct 'Inside Deep Throat', he was a producer.
Good job as he's an awful director.
