Everyone who's seen it knows "Pulp Fiction" line for line I guess "Annie Hall", "Dr Strangelove" and "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" are the other obvious ones for me...

Ah, the Cohen Bros. Life would be a little bit duller without them, wouldn't it?

I haven't seen catch-22, is it good? I am reluctant to see it cause i love the book so much, and I don't think you can get the same effect of satire/wit/sarcasm in a format that doesn't include words.

The film captures the mood of the book perfectly.
Alan Arkin is perfect as Yossarian and Art Garfunkle is beautiful. Christ, now I'm thinking about it, I'm almost considering pretending to be ill so i can go home and watch it again.
It's a bit confusing if you know the book really well, because for the sake of succinctness (real word?), the director merged about three characters into Major Major Major, but it works.
"...Help him, help him..." "Help who?" "Help the bombadier." "But I'm the bombadier" "Then help him, help him..."
