I forgot, but my mum told me not to get her anything a week in advance, so I can just pretend I remembered.

I'd promised my folks a curry last night, before remembering it was Mothers Day today. Killed two birds with one stone and also provided my aunts dinner. My stroke afflicted dad, who can't speak, was regularly pissing himself laughing at me still sitting eating my aubergine and potato curry and nan about an hour after they'd given up on their lamb and chicken curries and nans. I'm a slow eater

It's not so bad. I have bought her a card n 'Green Card' on video, but I didn't post them because they were supposed to be away for the weekend and I was leaving it late anyway, and I'm seeing her tomorrow, but it's all OK.

Dunno what the big deal is anyway, it's just another Hallmark holiday.
