Cats. Dogs friggin stink man. You can always tell a house with a dog...you can smell that wet-dog smell as soon as you walk through the door.
Cats are aloof, but I like that they play hard to get.

I used to live alone, single, with 2 German Shepherds (one long haired, one short haired), a collie and a cat. The death of the long haired shepherd in a hit and run broke my heart so badly I'll maybe never keep a pet again. Apart from my fruit flies.
Both are wonderful creatures and both have plus and minus points. Cats rule the night, though.

Cats all the way. When I used to do a paperound years ago every morning when you walk down someone's drive their dog would just bolt out to attack you. The owners used to go "Don't worry, He's just really friendly"  Yeah, A giant dog trying to attack me is being real friendly isn't he?  I like cats, kind of cool and at least haven't had all the natural animal instincts breed out of them yet. |
