So somewhere there is a dog like Tom Waits, Elvis or Steve Martin? Wow! Stop tarring my generalisations with your unprejudiced brush.

Nah. Cats, dogs, same thing in the end. Cats are just small. vicious, lazy dogs.

Dogs have no charisma. They're just so... earnest. They make me cringe.
Cats on the other hand are the greatest animal in the world (right after penguins of course). So it simply has to be cats.

Yeah. Every dog has personailty like Jade Goodie. They bounce over to you like a big baby going MEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMME, so clingy, so ... euuuch get away from me, dog! amuse yourself! stop eating your own poo! wash! christ!
Whereas cats give you a sideways glance, smoke a french cigarette, sort their hair out, say "Moi" then slink out of the room. And when a cat comes and sits with you it's not because it's an idiot with nothing better to do, it's because it wants to. Or it's food time, obviously. Or it's cold. Yeah, cats are quite selfish. But some cats are really nice people. I mean, cats. er,
*stops talking*

wolves! get a wolf, they're probably the best pets ever. like dogs, but better. and you don't have to feed it, it'll just go kill a horse or something.

Oh, you'd like that wouldn't you - a domesticated bronze bear. But the bear wouldn't be having any of that. It would rip you a new one.
