From our shop around in this house, Demon offer the best broadband service -well I think NTL are better value, but they're a joke of a company. Demon work on normal BT phonelines, none of that download limit nonsense, i think it's something like £20 a month for a 500 connection (whatever that means).
Someone else probably knows of a better offer, i'm usually wrong on these things.

I pay £24.99 a month for a 1.5 connection or something with NTL.

I believe one of the figures being bandied about was £17.99 a month, about £4.50 a week. Back to the turnip bin with you, peasant.
