Killah Priest and Tragedy Khadafi have just released a collaboration LP called "Black Market Militia" which is just what hiphop should be right now.
Basically, Priest and Tragedy are more thoughtful than most rappers and come across as Black Panther throwbacks. Dead Prez are on the song "Audobon Ballroom".
It's just a fantastic LP in today's hip hop climate and you could do far worse than to at least steal it off Soulseek or something. I don't expect everyone to like it, but it's infinitely better than some shite G Unit spinoff, who I doubt would ever namecheck Huey Newton on record.

I don't claim to know much about hip hop or rap but listening to Tim Westwood last night coming back from the Gloucestershire-Worcestershire area was truly mind-numbing. It was beyond parody.
