Isn't there some well-known psychological thing on multiple-personalities written by 2 guys called Thigpen and Clackley? Or was it just one guy called Thigpend and Clackley? ;D I remember using a not-so-well-known archaeological science textbook written by Cumberpatch and Blinkhorn. |

I collect names...at work i check people's credit cards. My fav. so far has been Ernest K. Heaven. Also Annabel Atler. I am saving them all up for my novel.
Had a Mr. Cock once. ;D I almost told him to change his name. Then didn't and laughed at him instead.

i met a pair of HK chinese twins once called Willy and Billy. They had identical tracksuits on, but one blue and one red. Fucking weird.

At school half the year was international students who came over to learn english, or to go to an australian uni. Anyway on their lockers, they would have their chinese or whatever name, like Chan Xiang Huey Lin then in brackets a western name that they choose themselves at school like (Caroline). Wierd.

its not that weird.
chinese people choose western names so it makes it easier for us. its quite nice of them, really.
if i was chinese and i came over here, i would make everyone call me by my chinese name. or make them call me Felicity Shagwell. or something.

Had friend who lived in China for a while. The locals changed his name to a Chinese one.
His surname was Chadwick and he was a super fit vegetarian so they called him Chadaway (phonetic spelling) which apparently translated back into English as Big Strong Vegetable! Clever that.

I always thought Leon was a lovley name for a boy, this was reaffirmed when I played Resident Evil 4 and my boyfriend was happy because I'd come away from the name Tra"fuckingshitty"vis as my favourite.
Still think Alice is a beautiful name for a girl.
