I used to keep a list of people I came across with great names, now I can only remember two:
Poppity Nutting and Tinch Minter.

Hmmm. I suspect some of those may not be real names. Moonunit just wishes it wasn't his real name.

There's a character knocking around Cardiff, calls himself Ninjah Pendragon. You may have seen him telling Derren Brown "inside my head, all is chaos" after the psychological-trickster guessed how much money he had in his wallet.
My mam used to work for the Welsh Nursery School Association, there was a girl in one of the schools called Onyx Coolborn.
I like Polish names. My aunt married a Pole called Whitold Kuczys (pronounced Veetold Kooches). They had kids called Janina (Yaneena), Danna, and Andrzej (An-jey). All ace names. Danna's kids are called Monti and Zbyska (another Polish name, 'Zh-bish-ka'). Equally Ace.
Welsh names are good as well. Especially Tomos.

So many good names to choose from. There seem to be a lot of football players with great names like Danny Invincible, or Screamer Tshabalala. I also like the way that Arjen Robben sounds like "Iron Robin", a bit like a solid bronze bear, but you can put it in a sock and whirl it around your head.
Shit there are so many. The other day I was reading about the life of FDR, and his headmaster at school was called Endicott Peabody. In an annual record thing from my old university, there was something about some alumnus called whose surname was Tollemache-Tollemache de Orellana Plantagenet Tollemache-Tollemache, (probably a descendent of the late great Leone Sextus Denys Oswolf Fraudati Filius). It talked of his adventures in Africa with his trusty sidekick Borrowdale Tripe. No shit. These are real people.
My mate told me he met a girl whose first name was Badboy.

Lynn Faulds-Wood. That was one of the true or false questions on Shooting Stars once.
My dads best friend is called Victor Munger. I always have to say his name in full.

I heard of a girl whose child was called Courtney Fish. Isn't there some well-known psychological thing on multiple-personalities written by 2 guys called Thigpen and Clackley? Or was it just one guy called Thigpend and Clackley? ;D

Isn't Ice-T, the hard man of rap, really called Tracy?
And Big Daddy called Shirley?
Obviously being called girls names meant they had to assert their macho-ness in later life.
Anyway, my dad used to live next to someone called Henrietta Roll.
A friend of mine at work called Kerry got engaged to someone with the surname Oakey, so when married = Kerry Oakey.
As far as rock star names go, Iggy Pop is pretty cool. The best one by far though is the drummer from ZZ Top (the one without the beard obviously) is called Frank Beard. Nice! ;D (oops, naughty me - shouldn't be using emoticons in front of B L Traynor..)
