that's not helping me....
honestly, im quite inexperianced in the art of gel/wax wearing. and i had to use something to make my hair wierd(er) for my drama dress rehearsal on monday.
sooo i just put tons in and hoped for the best....
short term results- good. long term results- greasy.

Go to the hairdressers and let them use some industrial strength shampoo. You may end up looking Grotbags for a while though! ;D
Maybe go to boots and get some Tgel or Polytar.

Just how much did you put in? I used to use a LOT of wax in the past, and i never had any problems getting it out. Maybe go for a swim?

Wash, rinse, repeat.

I've had some of that industrial strength stuff in the past when I used to spike my hair.
The only real advice is to wash it a lot. You can buy gel remover but it might cost a bit, same with going to the hairdresser.
Give it a day or two of washing, it will be gone after that.

i used to have a mohican (ahem ) and i used to use a mixture of gel, wax and glue to make it stay up. needless to say, it was a bitch to get out, so i didnt really wash my hair that often. but when i did, anti-dandruff shampoo did the business (after a few washes.) i recommend t/gel.

i can safely say that i've never put wax or gel of any kind in my hair. i did once wash it with moisturiser by mistake in the dark though. not nice but yes, some extra strong shampoo should do the trick! in the meantime...wear a hat.

The best way I found to erect a mohican/poker spikes was to take a bar of soap, wet it, have it against the palm of either hand and spike up your hair with a generous coating. It works great, dries and keeps your hair standing proudly. Not good for the eyes when it rains though.
Re glue, someone I know used to spike his hair with toothpaste. Someone else I know erected his mohican once with white emulsion.
