 Does anyone else think that new and irritaing song, "In The Morning" by The Coral sounds like Toploader - it has the same whimpy vocals and Toploaderesqe beginning.

I haven't heard it yet but you're the fifth reviewer or person I've read talking about it, and each person has mentioned that it sounds like Toploader...

It's not like Toploader musically. Not at all. Although the instrument doubling on the main riff does sound a lot like them - I guess that's where the comparison comes from.
Still fairly average though.*
* Which obviously makes it look like "OK Computer" and "Pet Sounds" compared to Toploader.

The Coral are a band that I would imagine need to hang on to a record deal quite badly. So if they go indie and do a Von Bondies, then I wouldn't be surprised. Cunts.
