I can't stand them myself. Every review of a British band in a Toronto newspaper has to feature some mention of Britpop, usually next to the word 'dreadful' and then there's praise for an unoriginal bunch of tosspots like the Kaiser Chiefs. How are they fashionable? Does using your local dialect give you some sort of cred now? (also ask this of the Others, the Futureheads etc).
