Well - obvious in contract to the one good song - which bands have little or no filler.

Fugazi - apart from the track with Guy playing a clarinet on Red Medicine. SFA - apart from those little 20 sec bits in Radiator. I also like to be unpredictable

DFA 1979?
GangStarr have had a surprising lack of filler for 6 albums over 16 years...
CAN
I suppose you could say that Royal Trux had no filler as they couldn't really play their instruments (at first at least) so you can't detect a lack of effort any time... if something sounds flat it's probably because it's feedback and white noise.

I think the DFA1979 album has a couple of tracks on it that it could do without.
Hmmm, no filler...I can't think of anyone really. Even my favourite bands generally tend to drift by with the odd piece of dross sometimes. "No band is perfect, they always let you down eventually" - some guy from the Pet Shop Boys. Who actually come close, but ruin it with the terrible recent stuff.

I'd say there's not a single bit of filler on the Arcade Fire's Funeral. Apparently, there's No Filler on a Sum41 album as well. EDIT Add to that Interpol's Turn On The Bright Lights, one good song indeed!

Minor Threat!
Well.... apart from 'filler'.
(Digression Junior High: My scouse friend thought the lyrics were: 'It's in your head, it's in your head, it's in your head... fella!')
Which kinda still works.
