I just realised (a bit slow, me) that this Sunday's Top 40 will include downloads for the first time. The Beeb reckons this may see a fall in the amount of rnb/pop shit in the charts and more rock/"alternative" stuff. That said they illustrated this by mentioning the Stereophonies and Athlete - sorry A*th*e*e - as alternative. What do we all think?

the charts will only be saved when a ban on major label promotion is brought in and everything is done on merit.
