Bastards!!! You should have reminded your manager of your job description i.e. to stand at the corner of the bar smoking rollies.

Yep much excitement. Picking up all the CD's, packaging and final tracklistings and songs for the Brainlove EPs... going to a Plan B night at the Spitz with Miss AMP from Careless Talk Costs Lives and my new friend James that I met at ATP (and anyone else who's coming! It looks really good - www.planbmag.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1366 ) ... and maybe Autechre on Thursday night (if i can get freeness) and maybe The Open Mouths at the garage on Friday night (they will be doing a Brainlove EP this year). And hopefully hanging out with you guys? Come out and play!

Dammit I got sucked into your avatar then Wiggles. I see what the other person meant about it being hypnotic now, I think I was staring at it for a whole minute. That actually was like being hypnotized, I had to snap out of it. Scary.

It's the look of abject horror on the chicken's face, isn't it?

Amen to that, brother.

What Durutti said. Or, whatever whoever it was said and Durutti quoted. But that takes to long to figure out. So, what Durutti said. And did someone mention going to the pub or something? I'm off to Cologne in half an hour (fuck yeah!) until Wednesday night, but someone text me if they're around from Thursday onwards? I may have to bring Mrs Bamos though, so I understand if you don't contact me

www.thetinangel.co.ukRetro cool, intimate, sofas, homely, great bands/musicians, everyone is ever so friendly - some nice foreign beers (Cruzcampo on Draught) where else can you see a yodelling banjo player from NYC on a Friday night surrounded by gorgeous drunks!

According to their listings Thomas Truax is playing, you should go and see him, he's got these crazy home-made instruments like Sister Spinster, and the Hornicator.

The Hornicator in action. He basically taps out beats on it, and then these gets sampled and played back over each other, sort of I Am Sitting In A Room style. Sister spinster is a drum machine, made from a spinning wheel with spokes on. He can adjust the spokes so they hit different drums. Really go and see him, he's more performance art than anything, but it's really compelling.
