How I hate this word. Anybody who describes their music taste as "eclectic" invariably listens to boring generic drivel that is anything but *shudder* "eclectic". Oh yes, I intensely dislike the word "taste" as well, it's so unpleasant.
Sorry, had to get that off my chest.
Does anybody else have irrational loathings like that, or am I just cranky from lack of sleep?

Someone described my music taste on myspace as eclectic, it was purely indie indie indie.
Big giveaway of someone with no clue trying to flatter me.
Eclectic is more rubbish a word than derivative.

I hate the word "pleasant" with a passion. But, I don't think that's irrational.

The word "moist" always strikes me as a bit... unpleasant.

A few more of these and I can feel a most-hated sentence coming on...
