1. What Will You Say @ Glastonbury uk.youtube.com/watch?v=HsQuiaw7IvsSERIOUSLY. It's long, but watch the whole thing. THAT, my X-Factor loving friends, is fucking singing. 2. Mojo Pin @ Sin-é www.last.fm/music/Jeff+Buckley/Live+at+Sin-%C3%A9/Mojo+Pin+(live)JUST. TRULY. AWESOME. 3. Tongue (demo) www.last.fm/music/Jeff+Buckley/The+Grace+EPs/Tongue+(Rehearsal+Demo)Beautiful epic live demo. I can see why people don't like Jeff Buckley. He plays in a style that touches on jazz-wankery. He sings in a style that touches on histrionic emo. But... Some people are just absolutely singular in a way that nobody else can mess with. In the way they envision, perform, look, feel, talk, sing... in how they project and express, very pure. It's a combination that massively appeals to me - as seen in Bjork, Tom Waits, PJ Harvey, Nick Cave, Jimi Hendrix. People who have fully got their shit together in the most amazing way imaginable and know exactly what they are about. And it's GOOD. That's Jeff Buckley.
