Having received the shocking news recently that Woody Allen's new film is awful, it sparked a couple of conversations about when this once-great filmmaker ceased to make great films.
SO, what is Woody Allen's best film and when was the last time he made a film that can compare with his best?
My personal favourite is Manhattan but I don't think he's made a great film since maybe Hannah and her Sisters. I've not seen all his films since then so if he has made a great one, please let me know and I'll go watch it.

Today is the Woodman's 70th birthday. Many happy returns!
"Annie Hall" is my favourite. "Manhattan" and "Crimes and Misdemeanours" would come next.

Half tempted to see it tonight, but then I might go watch Brokeback Mountain instead.
