Did anyone watch this program? It was on BBC2 about nine months ago and featured people with inventions/ideas who pitched them to a group of businesspeople who then decide whether to invest or rip their idea to pieces. It was quite entertaining. Anyway, the final episode featured a guy pitching an idea for a magazine called 'Wonderland' that is aimed at men and women. He subsequently got the largest investment of the series. Anyway, I think the magazine comes out this week I was just wondering if anyone had seen it. Yay or no?

Ohhhhh. I was hoping you'd found a dragon's den. The second in the Eragon series just came out if anyone cares.
But no, darling, I have not the nuttiest what you're talking about

I remember the episode you're on about, but had forgotten about it until now. I'll keep 'em peeled to see what it's like. I'm predicting it'll be a bit shit though.

I can imagine it being crap too, but I enjoyed that program so was intrigued to find out if any of the ideas ever came into fruition. Apparently the second series has been delayed because the lady who sits on the panel, her business has run into difficulties. Bit of Dragon's Den gossip there for you.

She ran Red Letter Days, didn't she? They went bust a couple of months ago. Aaaaaaah.

Yep, ran Red Letter Days. I got the feeling she was the poorest of the lot because they always said how much the others were worth at the start of the show (I don't remember them doing that for her) ... that Peter Jones is worth over £300million.

I got totally hooked on this programme and despite never actually setting out to watch it and watching relatively little TV (when big bro isn't on) I seemed to see every episode, including the Wonderland thing. Sounded like a totally gey lifestyle mag anyway.

I remember watching that programme, not that show though. I saw the one with two guys who were trying to launch a baby rocking device.
I watched it with my housemate Ralf who then showed me a promotional video he'd help translate for two stiff looking German fella's he knows who were trying to get funding for their exciting new invention......a self cleaning cat litter tray. It was pure comedy....I might see if SCL will let me show it on a large projector at On the Rocks.
Maybe not.

Yeah that programme was great. I only saw it about twice but it was hilarious. I especially liked the woman with the "flower quiver", for carrying bunches of flowers over one's shoulder. I want three!!!
There were two guys who couldn't do a presentation to save their lives - they ended up forgetting their lines but I can't remember what they were selling. Anyone?

Oh yeah, it was something good but they just messed up any presentation.
Was it the brolly vending machines at London tube stations?

That's a fucking brilliant idea. I had one like that the other day but I forgot what it was.

I saw 'Wonderland' in the shops a week or so ago. I flicked through it, it was rubbish. Yes, I am bored today.

Do you think the Dragons would fund Brainlove Records?
