Yeah, Ghost Dog rocks... the culture clashes between samouri / hip-hop / mafia / modern life are really well illustrated aren't they. And it's so funny... those three mad mobsters are ace. It's really hard to pick, I love them all. Night On Earth is a beautiful set of stories. Mystery Train is very slow moving, but full of interesting mysteries and Joe Strummer. Cigarettes & Alcohol is fascinating and funny and warm and varied and often not what you're expecting from the actors at all. But I think Dead Man is the one I've really loved the most. You have to watch it in a dark room, turned up really loud. I love the journey and the music and the existential speeches and stories. I guess it's possibly not the most entertaining, just my personal favourite.

I've only ever seen Ghost Dog and Coffee and Cigarettes so am probably not best qualified to vote, but have anyway. The French ice cream man is ace.
p.s. John, do you have Dead Man on DVD?

I've only seen Night On Earth in it's entirity. I started watching Dead Man on late night TV once but I fell asleep half way through. I saw half of Ghost Dog, then time-record decided to cut out about half way through. I have no luck with Jim Jarmusch films

Doug and I just saw Broken Flowers, who wants to touch us?
It was a strange film which I thoroughly enjoyed, I really can't work out what it was about -I think I need to watch it about 3 more times.
Bill Murray is his usual self in it, utterly watchable. There's one bit when his facade cracks, and you just see a tear wobble in his eye. It's amazing.
Edit: Happy now John? Hmmmm?

A whole tea? Wobbling? Like a cup, or a mug? Balanced actually on the eyeball? Wouldn't it burn? Did he spill any? This does sound amazing.
