As you may know, I don't like "art". I do like beautiful and thought provoking things though. Like: or or or "The plane of consistency is the abolition of all metaphor; all that consists is Real.” Deleuze and Guattari, 1988

You must have it over there i'm sure, but one day I plan to take photo's of all my faveorite grafetti. My faveorite stencil grafetti is one of a spatula. Brilliant

tAFCAK shame on you for not liking art. That pretty much means you're missing out on about half of what deleuze and guattari stood for! I'll go away and think harder about why you are a bad boy. Fine Art when it is done properly is about as thought provoking as you can get. It has a different vocabulary from philosophy for sure, but understanding it and seeing why it is a valid form of exploration and discourse is just as much fun as reading a good french philosopher... It's pure transversality. Rockin' There's a lot of bad art out there for sure, but you should come to one of our shows (see stranger show in calendar section) and have a chat about it all. aasinfo.net/stranger/stranger.html

Haha maybe I didn't put that in the right way. I love a lot of what people call art, its just as I might have said before, I just object to it being put on some kind of pedestal which suggests we're supposed to enjoy it on a different level to other pleasing things. If that makes sense

PV that Fred Tomaselli is breathtakingly beautiful. Isn't it lovely! i heart Fred Tomaselli. You can't even imagine from pictures how amazing they are in reality though. Absolutely massive and full of amazing little tiny details that i could just stare at for hours!

Ana & Stuart - those pictures are WOW. You look like spooks. Working behind the scenes to make things better? How can we really know that... what are you really up to... Scary.

That's sort of exactly how I'd imaginded you both to look -except human, not drawn.
PV -that Alfred Wallis looks a bit like one of my Granpa's paintings.
