Hi Folks,
Can anyone recommend any good Japanese horror films? They can be Korean and Chinese as well obviously, but I mean anything other than Ring, The Grudge, Tale of Two Sisters, Phone, Shikoku and Dark Water.
Also I don't mean things like Audition, Battle Royale or Ichi the Killer.

mentioned it on DiS as well, but whatever...
Whispering Corridors is a quite good Korean film about a dead lesbian schoolgirl gone evil.
I've always preferred Chinese action films to Asian horror though, due to the fact that they steal the outfits off French gangster flicks and the choreography off ballet. And then add shitloads of blood and guns that never reload.

You like said all the ones that have been released over here. Have you seen Tetsuo: Body Hammer? That's pretty dark.

I refuse to watch Tetsuo, just the cover scares me. I have a real dislike for films that feature human/computer/machine interface. I think it was from the bit in Superman 3 where the woman gets dragged into the computer and all the metal gets fused to her body and she turns into a robot. I wonder if Superman 3 is what influenced Tetsuo.
