Has anyone ever walked out the cinema in the middle of a film because it was soooo bad? Was close to walking out when watching Intolerable cruelty but i didn't buy ticket so i felt it rude... plus i needed a lift home.

My friend did during Anchorman.
I was this close to doing it during Be Cool. The 2nd Matrix film and Van Helsing were also slightly excuciating.

I walked out during the third Matrix, just terrible. I must confess that Anchorman is a guilty pleasure of mine, mainly for Brick (the really stupid weather guy)

I turned off Velvet Goldmine half was through if that counts. Never walked out of a cinema. I pick carefully. But Velvet Goldmine made me want to kick the TV in. SO tediously ponderously sluggishly SHITBOX.
I haven't seen Anchorman but it looks dreadful in a really good way.
I like the Matrix films even though they are all shit except the first one. I can't help it. It's sci-fi.

I'm still not sure about Velvet Goldmine, I didn't like it much, but there's something really disturbing about some of his other stuff, so I'm still wondering if there's something going on - if the crapness is part of the intended atmosphere... dunno.

It costs too much to walk out, I prefer to heckle the film. Like i did with "The Day After Tomorrow".
it's amusing if other people join in, if the film is noticeably awful to everyone and there's barely anyone there it can create a close bond...

maybe i worded it wrong i mean do a running commentary on how stupid the film is, Mystery Science Theater style. works very very well with The Day After Tomorrow.

There were bits of Be Cool that had me involuntarilly going "OOOH GOD!" out loud, cos it was so bad. Have I mentioned how bad Be Cool was? It was really bad.

I've never seen Be Cool but it can't be as bad as Along Came Polly, I would have walked out in 10mins if it wasn't like Miss Waistcoat and I needed the lift home.
The people I went with loved it as well while I was tearing my hair out in rage.

For those who care, Guess Who is apparently a remake of the Sidney Poitier film Guess Who's Coming To Dinner.
It's got Ashton "please stop shouting" Kutcher in the Poitier role.
PV -there's something wrong with your relationship! It's your job as the girl to like crap films! Not his!
