TIGA SEXOR ALBUM LAUNCH PARTY, BUGGED OUT AT THE END - FEBRUARY 18th
plus DJ dates in Manchester & Dublin
For the launch of his much anticipated debut album 'SEXOR' released February 6th, Bugged Out have asked Tiga to curate the End for the night of Saturday February 18th. Tiga will be playing two sets himself, an early one in the lounge where he'll spin the records that influenced him and SEXOR and then the peak time set in the main room.
Tiga will be joined in the main room by Erol Alkan and The Speculoos DanceSquad (find out who these guys are on the night). Also on the bill are Tiga's friends and family. Literally. Tiga's pals Dangerous Dan and DJ Damage are from Oz's infamous Bang Gang parties and Thomas VonParty is Tiga's brother, the one who brought the puppets to life in his 'Hot In Herre' video. Tiga is also trembling with excitement about the confirmation of the Very Special Live Guests. Here's a clue: they were Tiga's earliest rave influence. Find out who they are on this very special night! Win!! SEXOR Win!!
Tiga also plays two regional dates on the same trip :-
Fri 17th Feb Manchester, Sankeys Soap
Sun 19th Feb Dublin, Spirit
Tiga's new album Sexor is one of the most eagerly awaited debut albums for ages. This is a unique proposition. Last year Mylo broke through, in 2006 it's the turn of Tiga. Early reactions to the record have been electric. Sexor finds Tiga in spine-tingling form. Tiga sings on every track. Jake Shears from Scissor Sisters sings on a couple too. The album was co-produced with Soulwax. A real tour de force. Taking inspiration from some of the world's filthiest underground night spots, Sexor lives up to its title. Sexor is a dirty beast of a record that sucks pleasure from the bass and a whole lot more...
