2006.... New Year.... New Club
All You Can Eat - The Arts, 50 Frith Street, Soho W1D - Thursday 19 January
2005 was an exciting year, two things I'd been producing leapt to greater heights - Kash Point and Yr Mum Ya Dad. Now, it's a new year and time for new things for me - it's gonna be great! I'm starting a new club called All You Can Eat. It's a collaboration with K - performer, songwriter, and producer with The Kill for Kicks / Sma5hTV. After her experience putting Gauche Chic on the map at the Ghetto and mine with Kash Point we realised there's room for something else in London.
All You Can Eat has a simple agenda. We seek out the most exciting/ dangerous/ experimental art, fashion, live performance and music around to give it a platform at one incredible party. We book live acts that rock minds and bodies, DJs who bring something fresh to the dancefloor (it's all about getting up and moving) and invite contributions from artists and designers who represent the unique creative energies of the UK and beyond.
The ideas, people, and sounds we are inspired by are diverse and to acknowledge this diversity we are willing to be dynamic and challenge expectations of clubbing. AYCE is a forum for the active, the politically charged, the experimental, the conscious and those not afraid of upsetting a few people. AYCE is about looking hot, getting wasted, and dancing with vigour.
Check out the line-up and website for the launch night on 19th January. The night has the title Satisfied? Need we say more.
Hopefully see you there.
