Seasalter Sounds presents our first (of many, we hope) night for original bands in East Kent - 55 miles from London as the crow (like a bird the CROW) flies but might as well be another planet.
Friday 15th July 8pm at Horsebridge Arts Centre, Whitstable
Admission £4 (£3 concessions)
Featuring:
The Psychøtic Reactiøn - "A messy, chaotic, entrancing hodgepodge of sound that flits from era to era". Influences include The Wedding Present, The Replacements, Lightnin' Hopkins, DJ Shadow, Dinosaur Jr and Billy Childish.
Hexicon - "It's pop music but with a stick in the spokes; it comes out a bit wonky but that's the way we like it."
Das Zumas - Joy Division meets Sonic Youth, resulting in post-punk noise involving a Fender 6-string bass.

Bump! We have now confirmed the running order: Das Zumas are on first (about 8.30pm) with Hexicon in the middle and The Psychøtic Reactiøn headlining. Check the Seasalter Sounds website for latest information: www.seasalter.4-lom.com/events/index.htmlTickets are on sale now from the Horsebridge Centre. Although you should be able to pay on the door, capacity is only 150, so buy an advance ticket to make sure. CDs by all 3 bands will be on sale on the night. The Psychøtic Reactiøn will also be appearing at Project Mayhem at the New Cross Inn on Friday 26th August. I've cross posted this everywhere I can think of, so if you see it again somewhere else just ignore it.
