ATP are pleased to announce that the curators for this years
<br>NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS
<br>event to be held at Camber Sands Holiday Camp on December 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 2005 will be THE MARS VOLTA.
<br>Tickets for the event are on-sale now.
<br>Cedric Bixler of the Mars Volta: “We are honored and grateful to be given the chance to assemble a private mix tape and have it come to life. We are thrilled for the opportunity to play with some of our favorite bands, and hope you find our line up to be both intriguing and diverse.”<br> <br>“We are happy to welcome The Mars Volta to the curatorial chair,” says Barry Hogan of ATP. “They are one of the most sonic live bands I’ve ever seen and their recent release, ‘Frances the Mute’ indicates their influences will be a distinct offering.”<br>
The Mars Volta will be headlining one of the days and have put forward an eclectic wish list. Confirmed so far: The Kills, Diamanda Galas, Cinematic Orchestra, Blonde Redhead, Jaga Jazzist, Weird War, Damo Suzuki (Can), Beans, High On Fire, The Fucking Champs, Les Savy Fav, Michael Rother (Neu!), Acid Mothers Temple, Battles and Mr Quintron. The band has also chosen the following artists from their own GSL label: The Locust, Year Future, 400 Blows, Subtitle, Kill Me Tomorrow. Another 11 artists will be confirmed over the next couple weeks.

The season invites artists to present a retrospective of one of their works in its entirety. In the tradition of ATP, we are curating what we deem to be an artist’s best or favorite work.
