I'm in need of motivation, people. Having jacked in my last career as a computer geek after four years, I'm now studying law as the first step to becoming a fabulouly wealthy asshole. However, my return to academic study has reminded me that I'm painfully lazy with regard to this sort of thing. 'Procrastination' should be my middle name. I mean, my future career (and therefore the rest of my life) is at stake, yet I find it almost impossible to rouse myself from my indolence. I should be applying for training contracts with London law firms right now, too, which is perhaps even more of a priority, but I'd rather shoot myself in the nuts than fill in an application form or ten. Help!

I'm supposed to be writing a report that has to be in tommorow about persuasion and advertising except I'm here posting messages. And reading how we lost 5-1 last night

Don't worry about it. Apathy rules.
Well if you must go to work tomorrow/Well if I were you I really wouldn't bother.

I too am a law student with no motivation. However, I have no desire to be a lawyer - especially given some of the heartless, bloodthirsty people on my course...
Got to choose my final year options by Friday though. Tell me: Health Care or Law & Government? Which should it be?

Is healthcare basically about malpractice and liability? I think that's the last thing we need. Go with law and government.

Yeah, it's sort of about NHS liability but more about doctor-patient relationship, ethics, patient rights, administrative procedures and so forth. I'm erring toward Law & Government though, because a) there's a lot of education law stuff there, which is fascinating and b) the assessments look easier...

I remember our Yearbook, It was so shit cause the committee were inept. They lost half the photo's including the one of me with a cool moustache + beard. Also in the votes all their friends won all the votes. It was like a crap flipbook thing as well.
Our prom was shit as well.

yeah our prom committee wanted to book a castle about 50 miles away for the prom and charge us like £100 + to go. luckily that was objected too.
i don't know if i can be bothered going to the prom. its going to be awful i can just tell. and plus i need the money to go to leeds. and also i don't really like most of the people in my year.

I remember our prom. The place took about an hour and a half on a coach even though you could see the place from Plymouth as you had to cross the Tamar bridge and go right around Plymouth Sound. The Coach Journey was not fun on the way back. Piss stops every 5 mins. The place was way too small for the amount of people and the food was slightly crap. Beer was £2.50 a can of stella, lucky I was platered from before. ;D There was a crap ska band (I do like good ska). Angels was the fucking last song, I went to throw up somewhere when it went on. I got on with most people in our year but I was glad to see the back of most of them. All in all, proms are not like in the movies.

if you don't do some work, you'll never get your degree and you'll never get a job then you won't make any money and you'll end up being a tramp begging for money on the high street and playing incoherent crap on a 3 stringed guitar for some spare pennies. because of your lack of money you might get spat on and maybe will have to degrade yourself to earn some money through prostitution. this can lead to pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases which in turn can make you so ill you die. because you're a tramp, you're family will have disowned you and so, your dead body will probably be sold to a butcher by the mafia and the butcher (probably called hilary) will serve you up as his "special stuff".

The thing is, I will get my Graduate Diploma in Law. Being such a remarkable genius, I have a worrying ability to achieve results with minimal effort. Getting a job is probably actually more important.
