I remember replying to some thread by an obvious pisstake user on DiS with: "Is that you again Brainlove?  " And they got really agitated and had a massive go at me. It was at this point that I questioned my earlier judgment dat ne1 hoo rites like dis must be taking the piss, and decided that they were actually serious. It's a scary world, the internet... Anyway. People. I guess the key characteristic of "human nature" is its inherent selfishness... but then again, I've met so many people who try every day to overcome that instinct and do wonderful things with their lives. I think everyone is capable of doing something magnificent. I try hard not to go off on one about how slef-centred people can be because it feels way too much like punishment... |

If so, I'd also vote for all of the above. I continue to be suprised in both a positive and negative way by people.
I photographed the sweetest little girl last night. And when she came to leave she gave me a massive hug. Thats a great feeling......having someone wrap their arms around your legs. And then she gave everybody else in the room a hug as well. And all I kept wondering was how long it was going to take for her to become cynical, self conscious and restrained.
