Wow. That's a fucking amazing career isn't it. I wonder what they will do next. Something new hopefully. A happy album! ;D Doubt it somehow.
Kid A for me. The whole thing of flying in the face of all the expectations the way did, that total re-wiring of the band's sound, the symbiosis of their politics with their music, but not in an unsubtle sloganeering way (hello Coldplay), in a way that makes the art, music and beliefs into a coherent, poetic whole.
It's not all about the music, I admit. Musically, OK Computer might just edge it. But... music isn't always all about the music.

I vote I Might Be Wrong, it all just works, and the title track shows how ahead of the pack they are, there's bands doing that today who get hailed as saviours of music!

I'm afraid I voted for OK Computer, I know it's boring, but it was the first Radiohead album that I 'came out' to my friends about liking. Plus 'climbing up the walls' talks like one of the voices in my head.

I have voted for 'The Bends' because although John's brain seems most engaged by Radiohead's later work, and despite his fondness for OK Computer, I suspect his frail human heart truly belongs to this earlier offering.

"OK Computer" for many reasons. Just edges out "Kid A". I'm sorry but the British press are a pack of morons - Radiohead's newer work is neither "pretentious" nor lacking in songwriting goods. Even a transational album like "Hail to the Thief" can sail with ease to the top of my year-end list. I keep waiting for someone better to come along, yet they never do...

OK Computer is the only one I still listen to. I'm sure everything post Kid A (inclusive) would be great, if I could be arsed to listen to them.

OK Computer is the only one I still listen to. Me too. Think I've only listened to Hail To the Thief a handful of times since I got it. Haven't heard "I Might Be Wrong" so probably shouldn't be voting at all...

Think I've only listened to Hail To the Thief a handful of times since I got it. You really should listen to it a lot more, it's stunning.

... 'climbing up the walls' talks like one of the voices in my head. Climbing Up The Walls is simply stunning. That and Lucky are OK Computer's highlights for me. Re: Hail To The Thief; I love 'bits' of it more than I like the actual songs i think (not that I dislike the songs -far from it). In one of the songs this piano line kicks in at some point, something about it just takes my breath away.

HTTT is a stunning album. If they'd left off "The Gloaming" and "Punch-Up at a Wedding" it would be pretty much perfect.

As a card carrying philistine neanderthal with no appreciation for the kind of wilfully obscure wankery practiced by the Head on every album since (the very mighty) OK Computer, I vote The Bends. As the Brainlist Robot rightly points out it is a record that speaks to the heart - and then squeezes until it almost bursts.

Kaplunk! Another one for the Bends. Everything since I can see why people like/love/obsess over, but something seems to be missing. Can't quite put my finger on it. My brain likes it, my heart says meh.
