No no no not Amazon! Use CD-Wow or Play. Free delivery innit! Amazon are just generally shit, they constantly mess up your order. scratch that, neither play nor cd-wow have dead man on dvd. |

They often say they have stuff in stock, which they havn't, and then cos you've gone for the supersaver delivery thing, they won't send your order out until they get the one thing which they say they've allready got but they havn't. I had to wait ages for one order, cos apparently they didn't have His Dark Materials in stock! What the fuck right? It's His Dark Materials for fuck's sake, why wouldn't you have it in stock? It's hardly some ultra-obscure bit of Mongolian cinema or something!
My girlfriend recently ordered a book that would be usefull for her uni work, and for future employement. The book costs £40, so it's a serious some of money right. Obviously she clicked on the most recent edition of the book (3rd i think), Amazon sent her the 2nd. So she complained, and they said "oops" and sent her another copy, which was again, the 2nd edition. So she complained again, Amazon said they'd 'investigate', which has now led to them labelling the so called 3rd edition as the 2nd edition. Which means there's now two 2nd editions, one more expensive that the other! They also want her to return one (or both if she wants) of the books, which is fair enough, but despite giving a freepost adress for returns, they want her to pay for recorded delivery!

Have just watched Dead Man. Left the video running last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it. My girlfriend hates westerns but enjoyed this, but fell asleep before the end after drinking Belgian superlager.

Stop slandering your poor girlfriend – I’m sure she was just very tired and the super lager had nothing what so ever to do with the falling asleep incident.  Good film – not at all what I was expecting. |
