Seriously, what's the obsession with this show? every time i watch it i can't stop laughing at the dialogue and the utter ludicrousness of it all. Is that the point? and does anyone care about the plots involving the old people? plus i keep getting told that I "must be related to Seth" and whatnot - is this a good thing?
i must have answers, people!

I was around someones house and I caught 10minutes of it when I was still hungover but didn't pay much attention - one of my friends however has a screen saver of a v pretty girl he said was in it. So I presume the good looking chicas and chicos are the only appeal if the story, dialogue and acting aren't up to much!

I have never watched an episode of it in my life.
I believe the technical term for how I feel about it is "Meh".
It's just Hollyoaks....in California.......with rich kids instead of students......innit.

The OC is shite. Shitey shitey shite.
It's TV for girls, in much the same way as the Killers are music for girls. Mrs Bamos is obsessed with it, to the extent of setting the video to record it. Setting the video?! I didn't realise people still did that until I saw her messing around with the tuning the other day. If I'm out, I accept that I've missed the programme I want to see, and it bothers me no more.
The OC is dull, dreary, relies on the attractiveness of its actors to carry the show - and the women are far far too thin. Eat some pies for god's sake! Grrr. It's like Dawson's Creek in an over-analysis kinda way. Only more shite. Oh yes.
And at least Hollyoaks has humour in it, as anyone who saw the Christmas special will agree. Genius bit of broadcasting was that. The OC just has nothing, apart from some curly-haired fuckwit who women wouldn't look twice at if he wasn't on TV. Grrrrr.
I fucking hate the OC and all it stands for.

yeah i agree its shit! it is just dawsons creek with sun.
i couldnt believe it either when i heard some guy i work with having a panic and phoning his housemate to tape the bloody thing coz he forgot to set the video recorder! what has the world come to?! this guy even buys it on dvd so he can watch it again and again!! I DONT UNDERSTAND!!
my housemate tells me that there's really good music on the soundtrack like bright eyes and postal service.... well ive got iTunes on the comp, i can listen to it anytime. i couldnt bare watching that drivel just to wait for a good tune to come on and then have some one speak over it......
that is all.

Well I watch, and I even enjoy it. Perfect Sunday viewing really. Wake up, mill around, cuppa tea, bacon sarnie, OC. That's a good day that is!
Dawson's Creek was loads worse! For one, it had Dawson in! Secondly, it was very pretensious! They'd just go on and on and on and on and on and on and on....
Girls are pretty, people are mildly amusing, Jim From Neighbours is in it!!!! Good tunes on the soundtrack, where else did you see the Walkmen on normal TV?
It's like a TV sweet! Perfectly formed, not really good for you, but what the hell!

They're all fake and annoying, made of plastic and look like they'd snap if you touched them. The OC is not perfect Sunday TV, Sunday Grandstand and football games were invented for that.
