Happy to! Though of course I can't guarantee you'll like "proper" emo either! Some of the 90s stuff is kind of....violent, but the best bands don't take themselves to seriously. I like the irony of a band like Orchid who have quite clever lyrics with philosophical allusions, but deliver in them such a totally unhinged screech that they are, without exception, inaudible.

I have heard of, but not heard. From reviews it sounds like I might like them a lot. I think I might try and get hold of something by them. Have you heard them?

Anyone who calls an album "Eat Lightning, Shit Thunder" has GOT to be worth a listen.

I got nevereatyellowsnow last time, he sent me a nice CD to be fair. The Shins, Willy Mason, Beck...a few more. Nothing particularly groundbreaking, but not a bad little mix.
This time round I got silence-r. I dunno. Still whoever it is gets Chumbawamba songs. Mwahahahaha....Fellalady, where's your PM? I got a whole tape of this hit with your name on it...

You're welcome SCL. As I said - It's not a normal mixtape as I didn't put anything on I knew that you already had! But hey - if there was one track on there that you were into it's all cool! Also the other CD don't class as a mixtape - it's more a bootleg as it's a more intimate CD we wouldn't sent to just anyone - ignore the banter, talking, f*ck ups haha!

How much music do you put on your CDs? Jam it full to the 80 minutes, or a more managable 45ish mins?
I don't really wanna go over 45/50 minutes, I feel anything longer is unpalatable, and you tend to start putting in some things you wouldn't have put there initially. Is this bad form? Do people expect a mixCD to be choc-o-bloc?
Your opinions would be appreciated.
