...not till you're dead.
A Wrinkle in Time The Magic Faraway Tree series. The Wouldbegoods/The Railway Children Harry Potter Alice in Wonderland-perhaps the most clever book every created.
And if you don't read children's books/or secretly wish you did then you're dead inside.

Yay for Alice in Wonderland.
One of the most important books ever written and no-one can understand why.

Ohhh i'd compleatly forgotten about winnie the pooh! The books are way better then movies/cattoons etc. I am apalled at the amount of people who haven't read the books. A.A Milne is a comic genius, you should read The Sunny Side and The Holiday Round. And the Mr. Men books! And Where the Wild Things Are! My all time faveorite picture book.

I love Roald Dahl stuff, it's so bonkersly twisted. Read Esio Trot? This is the plot boiled down:
Man cons neighbour into falling in love with him through a complicated scheme involving the kidnapp of her beloved tortoise.

He seduces her by making her say things backwards. A sure sign of something dark going on!
